In the meantime, I'll stick my neck out a little bit and predict that it'll probably bounce a little bit on closing, but that the transition from closed to open will be clean. (There's probably not a lot of arcing going on at 3.3 volts!) That's nearly an order of magnitude shorter than a pretty fast telegrapher. I agree. My back-of-the-envelope calculations gave 60 ms for a dit at 30 words per minute, which is really fast in my book. -- Russ |
