#182223 - Have you considered using a DSP? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
My somewhat limited experience with DSP's, 3 or 4 chips, showed me that there's just as much diversity among them as among general purpose microcontrollers. Since many DSP's have features that speed up typical DSP applications, most prominently of which is FFT, which many accelerate with hardware bit-reversal, for example. A Multiplier-Accumulator is part and parcel to any DSP, and, of course, some of them can handle multiple concurrent transfers at one time, thanks to their separate input and output busses.
It might be worth a thought. RE |
