I'll hazard a guess your background is not in medicine or biology either, You're right, however... A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects. -- Robert Heinlein An intense curiosity coupled with enough years has given me a working knowledge in many fields. While I'm far from being an expert regarding the workings of the human brain, my understanding of it is not trivial. This particular article is written by someone that does do primary research along these lines, and has to meet the academic standards you seem to be demanding. All you have to do is clip the end off the URL I provided. His papers include plenty of citations for you to review. At least it's a scholarly paper, but the data is not there, just a summary of his work. It's significant information, but doesn't establish your claim as a "scientific fact". This researcher has a substantial body of related work available HERE That's more like it. It will take a while to go over all those articles, but maybe some actual data is buried in one or more of them. Thanks for the link. I'll get back to you. Have fun. Count on it ;-) |
