Having spent several decades in industry as a software engineer and now working in academia as a mathematics instructor, I see a wealth of evidence that indicates that the adaptability of the brain is related to what one does with it and not its age. I also recall reading several studies that support that premise, and I've no doubt that Google will find them or similar work. But, since you made the claim, it's up to you to support it. If you had said you believed that younger brains are more adaptable, I would not make an issue of it. But you said "It is a scientific fact that...". So prove it. |
