Frankly, I don't believe it, and the personal evidence I have says age has nothing to do with the adaptability of the brain. Anyone with half a brain can find many reasons why any particular candidate "wasn't qualified". So shouldn't they be valid reasons? They should be, but usually aren't. Most often the reasons aren't given at all, just a simple "didn't meet our requirements" or statement equally devoid of information. Disqualify them for not being qualified. Sounds reasonable to me. Not because you don't like young people, Don't jump to conclusions. I work with young people every day. I like them. I'm not real fond of "baby boomers", You've shown your true colors. |
