#139240 - in this forum most people are in the \'51 bu Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Most people also need software that directly relates to their business, whatever it may be
in this forum, "most people" are in the '51 business. So, that effectively null and void your statement here. If you look up in the thread you will see that I state that such entities that can be fully supported by e.g. Red Hat may very well be better off with Linux. So, for people not in this forum your statement is, most liley valid. However, if this forum is a place for discussion of financial software I have misunderstood something. Perhaps not, but I'll bet you didn't bother to look. Nor should you, since you've locked yourself in to Windows. But don't claim there is no equivalent until you've done an exhaustive search, which I seriously doubt you have done. I have not "locked myself in to Windows", the suppliers of the tools I need have done so. No, I have not "done an exhaustive search" since the likelyhood of all I need being available for Linux is, now we talk disctionary, look up infinitesimal. You keep assuming that I am a "Windows lover" which I am not, and keep posting that "Linux will do everything you want". Show me a full tool suite that satisfy all my needs and I will think about it. But, till then, I am deaf to all misionary statements on this subject. Erik |
