Big time. The same is true for many other people. YMMV. When the Gatesians managed to make Windows 'the standard' they effectively shut anyone that can not run windows apps out. I don't see it that way, nor do millions of other Linux users. Now for an ugly thought: is the frequent need to upgrade apps to run under newer windows releases a result of windows changing just to keep anyone attempting to run windows apps with something else scrambling? Nope. It's an attempt to extract a never ending revenue stream from Windows users. |
