Funny you should say that as I have a G4 Mac at home with two PCI cards that have four serial ports each. I used the machine to talk to the serial ports on my former employer's VME CPU boards. Worked like a champ. Your question may soon be relevant to Windows machines, once PCI slots go away. Are there any reasonably-priced PCI Express cards with four serial ports? -a |
