Thanks for the feedback. I had not thought about mapping it into the data space.

How are you accessing the upper address space of your 2M data flash?

I would still need to use the ISP/IAP routines to program the flash. But it would be simple to map it over to the data area. I could create an extended data pointer (24 bits) that should allow easy access to the data space.
