I used to train my bird dogs in the area where you say you live. Of course, there wasn't any Colorado Blvd there then or, for that matter, any C470. 50 years ago, I moved to Harvey Park. While I no longer live in the house where my parents moved back then, I live nearby so I'm a convenient trip or a quick phone call from my mother, who still lives there.

I might, aside from my mother's needs, have moved to another part of town, but this house was so reasonably priced in a familiar neighborhood, that I couldn't pass it up. It's essentially tripled in value since I bought it 16 years ago. The neighborhood's not as quiet as it once was, but then, I don't hear as well as I did then ... <sigh> ... it's HELL getting old ...
