The food in most restaurants in England is rubbish it is true. This does not mean English food is rubbish. I am fortunate that my wife is a great cook. Her Cottage Pie, Shepherd's Pie, Bangers and Mash, Liver and Bacon, Stew, Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding to name but a few are absolutely fabulous. She also does a mean Spaghetti Bolognese, Lasagne and Stir Fry. So unless you want to suffer the vagaries of restuarant food, get yourself a wife who can cook ;-) Ian |
