The weather is the one *good* point, but balanced against all the bad points, we no longer think it's worth it. So where's saner pastures? Don't know for sure. We tend to lean toward Arizona or Nevada, but there are as yet too many unknowns to make a firm decision. We're open to suggestions ;-)

Any place will have pluses and minuses, it's the net total that counts. The way things are going in the US lately, I'm kind of inclined to leave the country altogether.

BTW, your original posting seems to have touched off quite a discussion. Are we going for a record number of responses here?
