Rather than a vague 'Small' (which could be met by a MLF package), you need to define the numbers of what Icc budget you have, what Code Size you expect, and importantly, if you need a RTC on chip. Or will a low power On-Chip Osc be good enough ?


Those numbers and Peripheral choices, will pretty much select a device for you, more than a Pin count might.
