#185844 - contradicting yourself.
Responding to: ???'s previous message
I am looking to find a ... low power,
modern
Forgot to mention that it also needs to be 5V...

contradicting yourself. The, otherwise same, chip would use 1/2 as much power at 3V3. Virtually all 'modern' '51s are 3V3

it would be nice to find a manufacturer/chip that will be likely to be around for a while.
SILabs seem to be the bet there, alas 3V3 chips, although some have 5V LDOs built in
the 8051f9xx series is advertised as VERY low power.

Any!
