If you believe there may be a 10:1 difference between the two alternatives, you can still be happy with selling in a 2:1 difference if that is enough to show that the slower but more optimized alternative is an economic loss. If selling in the idea with a 10:1 time difference, people are more likely to ignore the argument claiming that 10:1 is too big a difference and then totally miss the actual point - that development time is an important factor in total margin when selling a product. |
