I have developed and given products to clients over the years and they are quite satified with it....

They are still using AT89C52 !!! ...and they do not want to switch over to even AT89S52 !!!

In all, they must be consuming about 400~500 nos per month, hence I say, MCS51 is still Rocking !!!...and will be, for at least 5 years....unless they stop manufactuing these totally.

The price of AT89C52 in Mumbai is about RS. 35/- (Less than $1, approx. $0.75).
Any competition for 40 pin CPU, 8KB Flash, 32 IO, etc., etc., ...at this price ???...I don't think so...!!!

I am talking about the products, that I have developed; consider all those product developers here in Mumbai alone...the quantity of MCS51 (particularly AT89C52) is pretty huge...and I say, that, if they stop AT89C52, then, they (IC manufacturers) will loose a pretty big business.
