Often (mostly?), these lists are pretty random, IMO.

If the manufacturer is in a metering envoronment, they will say, "this chip is ideal for metering!"

Next week, when they're at an automotive event, they'll be saying, "this chip is ideal for automotive!"

And, of course, everyone wants to be seen in "green" projects these days...
