Help is not necessarily giving a person what (s)he asks for.
In this case the help was to inform Chico that testing a chip these days is a waste of time.

I have recently been through an uphill battle because someone forced me to use SDCC. In the discussion someone posted "you can't complain when it is free". So, Chico, stop complaining if you want free advice here or hire a consultant and pay him to accept your complaints.
