TOTAL BALONEY Ever so often a thread has gone way out in the boondocks because some important detail was not revealed by the OP. Related to this particular case: there are orders of magintude of difference between testing a chip and testing an assembly. If you do not trust the manufacturer of your chips the solution is not testing but to find another manufacturer. If it is an assembly the story is totally different, there may be bad joints etc. THUS Chico made us waste a lot of effort replying on (the non-necessity of) testing a chip. Erik |
