Is it polite to ask someone to work for you for free, so that you can make money doing this?! I'm not asking to work for free... just asking if someone already made
This is the same attitude as "downloading copyrighted music 'for free' doesn't hurt anyone" You have a product and every time you sell it you make a profit. If I had a piece of software then every time I sell it I should make a profit. That I have previously made some software does not make it a gimme. Often, when I make something for someone, I reuse software that I have, that is a real moneymaker. If I gave everything I have away, I could not make money from it. If you want some of my property, whether I have recovered the cost to make it or not, I will charge. Why does so many think that software somehow is free, do you Chico, write software for free - I doubt it. Erik |
