#176107 - You will introduce defects => reduced reliability Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Now, I'm interested. Why did you ask "NO" when asked if you don't trust your supplier?
If I had a supplier I _DID_NOT_ trust, I would drop that supplier instantly instead of trying to work around the problems I so strongly dislike. The sensor is very cheap. It's not worth the time to try to test it - the manufacturer have used special machines to test 100% of them before shipping them from the factory. It's included in the price for the component. And the expected result is 99.999% working components when you get them - at least to the precision that you can test them (not using climate chamber, ...) But testing them means that you have handled them. How do you know that you will not bend legs, or introducing ESD damages? The expected result of you testing them is that the components will have more defects than when shipped from the factory. |
