#185688 - Why not?
Responding to: ???'s previous message
The treatment my client and I got was certainly sanctioned by the company management, else they wouldn't have allowed their French ARM development team to write the things that they wrote. Even the local representative was flabbergasted by such things as they told him and us.

Blaming my "failure to understand the architecture" for their inability to get their bootloader, SDRAM channel, etc, to work, certainly had nothing to do with that. Nobody told them to publish the claims they published, nor did they tell them to continue their ruse after management had decided to withdraw their product from the market, particularly after soaking us for a considerable amount of development hardware that didn't work any better than their MCU. They were still pitching that development hardware to us the week the decision had been made to discontinue their development of that particular MCU.

The fact that their support software didn't work was, of course, another issue.

Atmel management had to know about what this product development team was doing, yet they allowed them to continue.

That shows a blatant disregard and disrespect for their customers, which is an attitude that seemingly persists in their company.
