Like Erik, I use the Keil environment for development and the SiLabs IDE for debug. I also use the SiLabs Flash Programmer application to program things when I know the code is good.

SiLabs does have app notes on how to configure their IDE for compiling using Keil and SDCC but I've just gotten used to the Keil setup.

It really doesn't make much of a difference.
