 		 #185586 - P89V51Rx2 and P89LPC97x/P89LPC98x discontinued
NXP discontinued the P89V51RD2/RC2, P89CV51RD2/RC2, P89LV51RD2/RC2, the P89V662/664; the relatively newly introduced wide-supply-voltage two-clocker P89LPC97x/P89LPC98x range completely; and a few other members of the 3V P89LPCxxx line.

They are marked as "Standard End Of Life", some are "No Replacement Parts", others are "Replacement Parts is M0 LPC11xx family". Last buy is July/September 2012.

I believe this, together with nil marketing and relatively hard small-volume availability of the P89LPC97x/98x, clearly indicates NXP's future interest in the '51.
