The way in which the USB/FIFO is to be used is simply as a vehicle for moving data from the RAM, with the help of external logic, into the PC. You could, I suppose, use a UART and the serial port, but that's more trouble.
This approach is supported by the same programmable logic that provides the sample counter that drives addresses to the RAM, and the control logic that tells it when to start and stop. RE |
