#111447 - there is no such thing Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Vignesh, being a student, HAS to spend his time learning.
granted, did not know To build a simple LA is a good means of learning. "a simple LA" sure, but "a simple LA worth anything" there is no such thing. If the purpose of this excersize is to show that "signals can be captured in some rudimentary form on the LP port" sure, but if it is "build a logical analyzer worth anything using only the LP port" baloney. To have any worth, you need at the very minimum a 1us resolution and that will even be misleading in many cases. It has alredy been mentioned that a LP LA at best can keep up with 20kHz the result of such a "logical analysis" will be more misleading than helpful. Erik |
