It used to be museum.intel.com, but after the latest "modernisation" (read: dilution with fancy s**t) it's more like http://www.intel.com/about/companyinfo/museum/ . They apparently have a real brick-and-mortar (steel-and-glass maybe) museum, so you will find lot's of unuseful stuff like pictures of children looking at meaningless posters there. I can't find their timeline document anymore; instead there is a FLASH-based something. You can request historical documents though, which might be worth trying. Five years ago, when we discussed the 25th anniversary of 8051, they've sent me a preliminary datasheet of the 8051, which among other things said "member of the MCS-48 family". Jan |
