That sound-card oscilloscope software I mentioned previously incorporates the invert and add functions found on most "real" oscilloscopes. If I sum a DC waveform and an AC waveform into each channel, it should be able to invert one, and add the two together. If the one that's inverted is the Gnd channel, and Vcc is on the other, it seems to me that all I should see in the displayed sum is the Vcc side. Does that make sense to you? Given a way of attenuating the Vcc input, don't you think that would serve? IIRC, that's exactly how the "real" 'scope works. RE |
