When you turn off the power to your circuit it falls slowly. The R/C circuit you are using for a power on reset to the MCU is decaying slowly in like manner but most likely has ripple or noise on the signal. This causes the MCU to reset and start several times during the power down cycle which causes the program to start over and resend the test string.
The fix.... Get rid of the crappy R/C reset circuit and replace with a proper reset supervisor component. Michael Karas |
