To have a EPROM that may pass the checksum test directly when programmed, but not 30 minutes later... When the charge in an EPROM memory cell is close to the border between a zero and a one, you can get a situation where the temperature changes the bit, so you get a random performance from the program. And looking at the source code will not tell anything about the strange behaviour. |
