#177768 - you offer to help him go blind Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Isn't it better to let him figure that out on his own than to spoon-feed it to him.
Who keeps blabbering "give him what he wants"? The U.V. lamp comes with sufficient warning that he'd probably know not to expose himself to it. so, if he will not let you halp him hang himself, you offer to help him go blind. It wasn't difficult to do, with a lamp fixture, a cassette box, and the U.V. lamp, along with a switch. I wouldn't recommend it then why did you do so in a previous post The fact is, if Nathan reads the material accompanying his assembler, then reads the MCU datasheet and its application information, he'll conclude that it's too much effort, expense, and time that would be required, and he'll choose another path to follow. let me give you the path 1) I have a 8031. 2) oh, I have to buy an EPROM, I will. 3) oh, I have to buy/make a EPROM programmer, I will. 4) oh, I have to buy/make a EPROM eraser, I will. This almost describes my first venture into the '51 world and note that at every step the cost seems managable. Thus, if the OP had not been warned he would have invested gradually, lots of money, just to satisfy Richards desire to pull everybody back to the stone age. Whether that path involved electronics, well, that's uncertain. how come you doubt that, you say his post was crystal clear and what he wanted made sense (if not why post "give him what he wants") Erik |
