Just what is it that makes your viewpoint correct, John, when, first of all, most of the folks in the world disagree, and secondly, most of the folks in the world don't have to run around telling everyone who disagrees with them that they're WRONG!

That's why Americans and, so some extent, the British are despised around the world, since they insist on telling everyone that their way is the only way, even though their way is, at most, a dozen and a half centuries old while the others' beliefs persist after tens or hundreds of thousands of years.

People who fail to respect the cultures and beliefs of others can't have too much respect for or confidence in their own. Whom do you suppose they're trying to convince? ... themselves, perhaps?
