Well, no, because it they are omnipotent, they would have to be unassailable too.
A claim of omnipotence is null and void if there is something that is unassailable. Omnipotence doesn't go too well with "... um, except for ...". A myriad of these issues spring up with the assumption of >1 omnipotent entity. With just one, there's still lots of paradoxes (Can an omnipotent entity create something it cannot destroy ? Hm. Can root create a file he cannot delete ?). Then again, if man has trouble understanding a few mm^2 of silicon, how much more trouble will he have to understand omnipotent entities ? |
