http://www.phytec.com/products/...uC8xx.html Look at the Hardware Manual for that board on that page: it tells you that the RS232 interface can be reconfigured as RS485: RS232 is not designed for bus connection; RS485 is designed for bus connection! The Hardware Manual for that board also tells you that the I2C and SPI are available in the headers - so you could also use one of them to connect between the 2 boards. There really is no reason to be bodging the RS232! |
