Since we've got no information about the tasks of the two MCU's, I doubt it's safe to assume you can just AND the outgoing messages. If they're a bit or two out of synchronization, the message will never be correct at the receiver.
What's unclear is why the O/P wants to use the serial protocol. He can use the two P3 bits as individual signaling channels if he wants. He can even send serialized data over those port bits. RE |
