If he wants the same response to the same input from his PC, he has to have precise synchronization, else they'll be in different states at the time his "start" signal arrives, hence, may produce different results.
Of course, with a lot more information, one could be more specific, though the O/P certainly hasn't been particularly specific, or even consistent. From the statement regarding the control from the PC, I haven't yet seen why/when/where the two boards have to communicate with one another. RE |
