Hi Andy,

If I'm not mistaken, £291 is over $450. And if I were a student, ..., actually, when I was a student, that was a significant difference. Still, I agree with the sentiment of your point. In fact, if I were interested in buying one of these $199 DSOs I would first search eBay and Upillar for a better price, or a better alternative. And, for some at least, coming up with another $200 for a much better scope might be the better choice.

Unfortunately, unless someone can speak definitively to the bandwidth of these $199 DSOs, we don't really know if an alternative even IS a better choice? I hope Mahmood posts some actual measurments.
