#187335 - Unusual with short pulses for hobbyist projects Responding to: ???'s previous message |
But 10ns problem pulses are normally created in chains of logic chips, where two signals toggles with small delay. But such designs can just as well remove a zero or two in the timing of that race condition making whatever scope a hobbyist can afford too slow.
The majority of hobbyists makes use of a microcontroller will all memory internally, so no racing conditions for any memory select signals. And they normally generate all their signals directly from single processor pins, so the speed of the signal isn't part of any racing condition but the result of the programmed frequency of the timer, uart, pwm or what it may be. |
