Hi Erik,
there is confusion, that IC not precision rectifier its a True RMS to dc conversion IC

please find this link.
in this data sheet TABLE-4 they mension comparition of measurement using average reponding ckt.

i checked two ckt in simulation.working fine. but i do not have any precision OPAM so i can not test practically..
practically i have generated SCR waveform because of OPAM inavaibility i can not able to check

if this circuit will not work than i will go with "without rectification technique" means direct waveform measurement so meanwhile i am discussing with Mr.Per regarding "direct waveform measurement"
