if we wants to measure distorted waveform than it will be good. what about linearity?
please elaborate Precision rectify limitation. it will useful for me.
a precision rectifier (usually involving an OPamp or two) will not distort anything, it will just make both halves of the wave positive allowing you to use the full range of the A/D.
