#186615 - CT accuracy
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Accuracy i want but not in decimal point....

"there is limit to the accuracy of a C.T. for chopped waveforms due to freq components"
ya you are right. there is high freq. component at CT output.
how can we eliminate that? I am using LPF.........

i give CT output to differential amplifier through Burden resister but i observed High freq gate pusle on output. after i increased the frequency of gate pusle (pulse Transformer isolation) than high freq. component almost remove but overshoot at SCR trigger point ..
i do not know what is the reason??

you mention bandwidth and offset are limitations:
but its in my case freq. is 50hZ and for offset, select minimum offset OPAM.

is there any other limitation? i know precision rectifier is not suitable for chopped wave but i do not have any proof and solid reasons(proved on paper)....
