looks rather good. A bit too much ringing still, but the current limiting circuitry works properly.

This plot doesn't look good! Here the ringing is so high, that the sync pulse length isn't stable, but changes from period to period.

Try to add a RC low pass filter of 47R and 10nF at each Vsense input of L6506. This should stop the ringing from interfering the current limiting circuitry of L6506. Maybe you must increase R a bit.

Make a scope plot of Vsense again please, but behind this RC low pass filter.
