Your told that the stepper has an inductance of 1.6mH and a ohmic resistance of 1 Ohm per stepper winding. Means, when turning-on the MOSFET an exponential rise should be observed with a time constant of L/R = 1.6mH / (1 Ohm + 0.33 Ohm) = 1.2msec. But what the scope shows is a stepper winding not at all having this inductance!
