I kind of wonder what happened to the 16-bitters. I remember when Philips touted the XA as the '51 killer. Some years ago I did quite a bit of work with the XA, but haven't heard about it for ages.

Is it the same with micros as with memory chips anything which is not 4 times more than the old is an oddball?
