That was the point: there are very few C++ suites for 805x microcontrollers in particular - but plenty of C++ suites for microcontrollers in general!

Needless to say, however developing C++ code for 805x will be a lot more costly than doing it for an ARM or other Linux-capable core.

Linux has nothing to do with it.

Can you recommend a low-cost compiler for 805x C++?
