As I said earlier, I don't think you should invest time in Pascal unless you already have worked with Pascal before.

It's better to go directly to C. A lot of people knows Pascal in general, but if you get stuck with a problem related to real hardware, a lot fewer people will be able to help you.

Almost all sample code you can find is in C, and almost all developers you will find on web forums is using C.

I'm pretty sure that most people who is using Pascal for embedded work do it because they used Pascal as main language before starting with embedded projects. Or because the first free compiler they got their hands on was for Pascal.
