#180390 - big problems Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The "normal" big problem with C is the concept of pointers
There are (in programming and elsewhere) many very useful things that are a "big problem". You can sit there and wait till a show starts to press 'record' if not flashing 12:00 is a "big problem". I have seen very bad code that was so to avoid a useful feature that evidently was a "big problem". This discussion is almost making any newbie jump through hoops to avoid the "big problem" instead of biting the bullet and learning to use pointers. Learning to use pointers (correctly) is NOT a "big problem" if you are willing to learn. If you are not, I suggest you buy a broom to get the tool for the trade you are qualified for. Erik |
