#180397 - one C book should do Responding to: ???'s previous message |
somewhere along the line I ought to pick up the three 'C and the 8051' books.
one C book should do I'm particularily fond of Kochan's for self study. When you have that done, you may want to get a copy of K&R which you should understand once you have worked through a "study book" rather than a "specification" The '51 books will invariabaly be out of date, I believe that Craig Steiners is the latest, the popular Manzi is quite ancient. I'd suggest that when you are (reasonably) fluent in C on the PC you download "the bible" the Keil manuals and the datasheet for your favorite derivative. One final word stick to the serially programmable chips making a programmer makes no sense these days. Erik |
