Murphys law could be rewritten "if you have two hoards, they will not blow, if you have one it will" :)
anyhow, I blew a few boards when I were new and clumsy, have not blown any for a long while. The likelyhood of a devboard blowing is virtually zero till you start attaching things to it. A typical example of blowing a chip would be to connect a port pin strongly to Vdd or Gnd, configuring the pin to push-pull and setting it the other way. I leave it to you to honestly judge if you can verify that anything you may build and connect to a devboard will be 'safe' Erik |
