The DOCs above are valid for most memory details, but can diverge from modern parts interrupt and peripherals.

SiLabs have good DOCs, and the latest Atmel AT89LP51 data sheets have better layout than the ancient datasheets, and if you still need another angle, some others have good data like :

SiLabs Toolsticks are good value for Money, and their 5V Automotive family are easy to apply.
The Zilog Z51F also now has a reasonable Debug tool flow, if you can get them.

There are also Simulators and workbenches out there, that are good for learning the parts, and getting the logic-branches right before you launch a real chip.
